About me

I’ve been training in Muay Thai and full-contact Kickboxing for over 30 years. What started as a passion quickly became a lifelong commitment.

I began my journey training with Russ Williams, a 3x World Kickboxing and European Muay Thai Champion, in Ruabon, North Wales. I later moved to Heavy Hitters Gym in Chester, training under Phil Williams, where I had most of my fights and won two ISKA British Titles.

Over the years, I’ve had the chance to train with some exceptional fighters including:

  • Ricky Nicholson (The Tank)
  • Spencer Wilding (Champion turned actor)
  • Neil Woods (K-1 UK Max Champion)

I’ve trained at a range of top gyms, including:

  • Heavy Hitters (Phil Williams)
  • Minotaurs (Paul Taylor, Christian Knowles)
  • Koabon (Seb Jones)

Now I focus on personal one-to-one coaching sessions, working with people who want to:

  • Learn Muay Thai and Kickboxing
  • Train for fitness and self-defence
  • Build confidence, or enjoy the challenge

Why learn Muay Thai

Muay Thai is a fast-paced, high-energy combat sport that’s easy to pick up but takes time to master. It’s a great workout, builds confidence, and teaches practical self-defence skills.

Whether you want to spar, compete, or just train for fitness, Muay Thai keeps you strong, agile, and sharp—both physically and mentally.

Where I train

I’m based in Fleet, Hampshire, and also work with people from Farnborough and nearby areas. Training sessions are by appointment only. I’m flexible with dates and times, so just get in touch to arrange a session that works for you.

The gym

I’ve built a fully-equipped gym in my double garage, designed specifically for 1:1 coaching. The space includes:

  • Professional-grade MMA mats
  • Treadmill and rowing machine
  • Punch and kick bag
  • Kick pads, body armour, focus mitts
  • Dumbbells (6kgs – 30kgs)
  • Sparring gear (gloves + shin pads)
  • Skipping rope

If you’d like to spar, please bring your gum shield. You’re welcome to use my gloves and pads, or bring your own gear.
